Come and join us at the Academy for a luxury weekend of surfing, yoga and massages all set beside the picturesque beach at Perranporth.

We will teach you everything you need to know to get started surfing, or give you advanced coaching to improve your technique using our experienced team of coaches.

Then when you start to feel the aches and pains set in our on site Vinyasa yoga and Swedish massage sessions are designed specifically to loosen and refresh your body, giving you a new lease of life for the next day!

The Surfing

- BSA and RLSS accredited instructors with up to date CRB check
- Hire of all equipment - full length wetsuits and soft learner boards
- Water safety brief followed by paddling, standing and turning techniques on the beach and in the water or more advanced drills for those who surf already

The Yoga

- Vinyasa flow yoga taught by Yoga Alliance certified teacher
- Fun and flowing class that uses movement to link each posture with the breath.
- Yoga embraces each persons individuality, and is easily adapted to your level and personal requirements
- Yoga mats provided
- Yoga performed in a secluded area of the beach weather permitting

Optional Massage

- VTCT accredited Swedish Massage therapist
- Upper body massage designed to ease tired muscles used when surfing

What We Provide

All equipment is included in the price of your lesson. This includes full length wetsuit and boots (depending on time of year) and a soft foam surfboard.

Beginners are allocated one of our soft foam boards especially designed for beginners. These boards are soft, buoyant, stable and easy to catch waves on.

We have a variety of different length boards to cater for all shapes and sizes so we make sure we have the perfect apparatus for you to start catching your first waves.

What You Need To Bring

Swimming kit (don't forget your towel!)


Old trainers or flip flops for walking down to the beach over pebbles (optional)

If you're doing the full day then we suggest that you bring some lunch, although we are normally near a pasty shop!

Day 1
10:00 – Surf lesson (2.5hrs)

14:00 – Yoga session (2hrs)

16:00 – Optional Massage

10:00 – Surf lesson

Lunch (not included)

14:00 – Yoga lesson

16:00 - Finish

If you would like to stay, we would recommend staying for 2 nights i.e. Friday and Saturday.
